Q & A

Q: Everyone has a story to tell! What have you done in the past?

A: I grew up in Santa Monica, California where surfing, wakeboarding, and cheerleading were my biggest passions. I love to travel and have been very blessed to see so many different parts of the world. I believe that traveling has shaped me in ways that education and my home communities could not. I then went to college at Boise State University where I got my bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in international relationships and public policy. After college, my fiancé and I bought a 38 ft 5th wheel and decided to travel across the U.S.  Somehow, we landed here!

Q: What are you working on now?

A:  We are currently working on getting schools to sign up for the Oklahoma Prevention Needs Assessment Survey. This helps educators and schools to see trends and observe information on things such as depression, drugs, alcohol, and mental health. We are also continuing to do our monthly alcohol compliance checks, Responsible Beverage Service and Sales Trainings, and several other projects.

Q: What are your favorite ways to use OK In the Know?
