  • New! Senior Prevention Field Representative – The individual selected for this position will work in the Prevention Division Central Office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the ODMHSAS. The individual will work under general supervision, monitor existing strategies and provide technical assistance in the area of primary prevention with a focus on population-based change utilizing public health principles. The primary area of focus will be school-based primary prevention strategies.  The ideal candidate should be able to apply change theory principles to strategic planning processes aimed at achieving outcomes. The individual will promote innovative solutions to solve multi-faceted problems. Additional duties consist of assuring compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards, evidence-based strategy requirements and other applicable governing/codified standards in managing and delivering prevention services.     Behavioral Health Case Manager – The Behavioral Health Case Manager is responsible for coordinating prevention, treatment and recovery activities for clients suffering from mental health issues or substance use disorders.   • Peer Support Specialist – The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) is assigned to assist Behavioral Health Case Managers facilitate integration of prevention, treatment and recovery services for clients with substance use disorder. PSS support individuals with struggles pertaining to mental health, psychological trauma or substance abuse. Health Department; Cheyenne and Arapahoe Tribal Jurisdiction.   • Volunteer Event StaffersFree The Night is looking for volunteers to attend community events. Event Staffers will collect messages, interact with the public, support local musicians, gain free admission to events and get a Free The Night t-shirt.   • Comprehensive Cancer Control CoordinatorOklahoma Comprehensive Cancer Control Program – OSDH: The primary function of the Comprehensive Cancer Coordinator is to address cancer prevention and control issues and levels of interventions by convening stakeholders, assessing epidemiologic data and implementing formal plans to reduce the incidence and burden of cancer in the state and local areas.
  • Clean Indoor Air CoordinatorOklahoma Tobacco Control Program- OSDH: Provide statewide consultation on environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) and the negative health/economic consequences associated with exposure to ETS. The Clean Indoor Air Coordinator will provide comprehensive public education, training and technical assistance specifically designed to reduce public exposure to ETS.
  • Patient Navigator – Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program- OSDH: Manage a patient caseload, provide clinical social services, evaluate needs of clients, assess barriers of clients, facilitate removal of barriers, and serve on interdisciplinary care team for client seeking breast and cervical cancer health services. This position also serves as an advocate for the client and support self-advocacy efforts to assist client’s exercising rights, choices and responsibilities. Filing Deadline 9/9/2019.
Latino Community Development Agency Positions
  • Mental Health Therapist: Latino Community Development Agency (LCDA) is seeking a Licensed Therapist or a Master’s Level under Supervision candidate. The position would require the ability to provide behavioral/mental health and/or family counseling to a culturally diverse population. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in both English and Spanish.
  • Bilingual Victim Advocate: Under the supervision of the DV Supervisor the case manager will provide advocacy and appropriate services to victims of domestic violence.
  • Assistant Teachers and Part-time Substitute Teachers: Tony Reyes Bilingual Child Development Center is a NAEYC accredited DHS 3 star facility and Early Head Start program. Bilingual preferred but not required. Full time teachers receive a full benefit package. Child Development college credits required for full time positions.
  • Bilingual Drug and Alcohol Counselor: The Latino Community Development Agency is seeking a Licensed Therapist or Master’s Level under Supervision candidate proficient in outpatient treatment of addiction/co-occurring, and/or experience w/adults & family counseling. Must to be bilingual (English/Spanish). The position would require the ability to provide Drug, Alcohol, behavioral health and family counseling to a culturally diverse population. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with English/Spanish speaking consumers. (LADC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT). We provide supervision.
