The Boots and Badges obesity prevention program for Okmulgee Public School students brings in firefighters, police, Muscogee Creek Nation Emergency Management, and behavioral health workers to interact with children in a fun and positive way.

  1. This is such an incredible partnership. We hear so much about the division between police and citizens in the media. I wish that we could see more positive stories such as this one in the news. The world can become a much brighter place through initiatives like this.
