The Oklahoma Public Health Association will host its annual conference on Tuesday, September 25, at the Embassy Suites Medical District in Oklahoma City.
Scheduled speakers include:
- Steven Buck, Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs executive director and Oklahoma secretary of health
- Terri White, commissioner of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
- John Woods, Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust executive director
- Rachel Melot, community program manager with the Blue Zone Project
OPHA has served as the state’s go-to organization for public health knowledge, resources and advocacy since 1939. As such, its annual conference provides a great opportunity for attendees to meet and network with public health professionals, students and supportive businesses and organizations from throughout the state.
Registration fees are $85 for OPHA members, $50 for students and retirees and $125 for non-members – though that does include a 2019 membership.
