Active commuting and obesity in mid-life: cross-sectional, observational evidence from UK Biobank

This study published in The Lancet examines the effect active commuting has on BMI and obesity. The study found that those who engaged in active commuting (walking, biking, or taking public transit) during midlife, were more likely to have lower percentage body fat than those who did not.
